Windover Launches CMAP – A Unique Construction Management Training Program

Windover’s new career development initiative, the Construction Management Apprenticeship Program (CMAP) is a unique training program that prepares recent college graduates and qualified employees for a career in the Construction Management profession. CMAP participants are full-time Windover employees who, over the course of 24 months, will complete rotations in Estimating, Project Management, and Field Operations.

Our CMAP participants will be assigned a mentor during the two-year program and will work directly with a manager from the respective areas of focus during each of the rotations. Upon completing the rotations, the participant will graduate from the program and continue their career as an Assistant Estimator, Assistant Project Manager, or Assistant Superintendent.

In August, we hired our first CMAP participant, Ryan Thomson, just a few days after he graduated from Wentworth Institute of Technology. Ryan is a familiar face to Windover as he completed two co-ops with us. We look forward to Ryan’s journey as he embarks on our CMAP program.
