We are truly honored, and humbled, to be breaking ground on our fifth veteran’s housing project. The new facility represents the second phase of Valley Brook Village, a permanent supportive housing community for homeless veteran’s in Lyons, NJ that Windover completed in partnership with Peabody Properties in 2013. Valley Brook Village II is a continuation of this joint venture and will offer 50 one-bedroom units and supportive services to homeless veterans upon completion.
Director of Project Development Services, Peter Gourdeau, has played an integral role in each of the five housing projects that the Windover-Peabody Properties venture has undertaken. He believes that “we must never lose sight of the sacrifices made by those who serve our country. For that reason, Windover’s part in seeking to end homelessness among veterans has been one of the most rewarding aspects of my job.”
