Completed in two phases, Windover Construction renovated the Herrick House, a senior living community in Beverly, while it remained occupied. The Herrick House, part of the Beth Israel Lahey Health network, provides support for residents from independent living apartments to memory care units. The renovations were completed in two phases in order to minimize the disruption to the residents. Each construction zone was sealed off to keep the dust and debris out of the common hallways and provide a safe environment for the residents. Additionally, Windover created temporary dining and gathering spaces and continually moved these spaces as construction progressed through the building so that residents could maintain their routines and connections with fellow residents.

Both phases of the project included renovations and modernizations of the common areas. The dining room received cosmetic upgrades, including a new carpet that is the same carpet used in Buckingham Palace. Additionally, the library, entryway, and pub were renovated, and cosmetic upgrades were performed on all residential floors.  Much of the old furniture was replaced to match the updated spaces, and many pieces were donated to the local nonprofit Beverly Bootstraps.
