This urban, upscale mixed-use community features 90 units (one- and two-bedrooms) situated in the heart of downtown Beverly. Faced by the challenges of a tightly constrained, urban site, our team used panelized wood frame construction, fabricated off-site, to compensate for minimal laydown area and to expedite on-site construction. Located proximate to the commuter rail, this apartment community was designed with the commuting professional in mind and includes amenities such as a fitness areas, bike repair shop, maker space, lounge, and outdoor communal space. The first floor also has space for retail tenants.
Our team coordinated all project consultants in a design-build project delivery method to achieve our client’s quality, budget, and schedule targets for the project. This process began during the conceptual stage when we assisted Beverly Crossing in evaluating the various options for the design and construction approach that would achieve the earliest possible move-in day for their future tenants.
