Nestled upon 30-acres of river bend property, this picturesque estate combines antique charm with open concept living. The design of the new 8,000 square-foot home recalls a 1800s colonial vernacular with understated, quintessential New England elegance throughout. As you enter the property across the river bridge, you are greeted by a welcoming farmer’s porch and acres of pasture that give it a sense of timelessness. Windover’s team managed the development of the entire estate featuring the new residence, bridge, an 11 stall horse barn, an 80’ by 160’ indoor riding arena, pool, spa, and bowling alley.

They are great people to work with…I felt like I had a partner that was going to look after my best interests. They cared about the success of my project as much as I did.

Contemporary Living, Centuries Old Style

Replete with the amenities of contemporary living, the property looks and feels as if it were century’s old due to a masterful architectural design and sophisticated craftsmanship that creatively incorporated period materials and details into the new construction. For example, a timber frame great room, connecting the garage to the main house, was constructed from timber salvaged from a 1850s Vermont barn. Exposed timber framing, masonry, and rustic planked floors used throughout this open-concept home harken back to its historic inspiration while adding to its modern comforts.
