Construction consists of a first-foor steel podium plus four levels of modular apartment units. The ground floor features retail space including a restaurant and two merchandise shops. The apartment units feature thoughtful details such as solid surface countertops, master bathrooms with double-sink vanities, and sliding doors that invite residents onto their balconies to take in the sweeping ocean views.
By utilizing modular construction techniques, Windover is helping to streamline the schedule, improve quality control, and minimize the need for on-site material laydown. Windover is utilizing drone technology to compare as-built work in place to the BIM. The team can identify potential conflicts with this data and make adjustments as needed to the modular units being manufactured offsite to avoid any onsite conflicts during installation.
