Located adjacent to a newly refurbished city park, Holcroft Park Homes replaces both vacant land and abandoned buildings in a way that unites and revitalizes its neighborhood. Constructed in two phases, the first phase included four buildings with 29 affordable apartment units and the second phase included two buildings with 29 affordable apartment units. Every building is differentiated by architectural accents, such as varied siding or bold color schemes that give visual interest and a contemporary feel.
Project Phasing to Meet Occupancy Requirements
The YMCA had an immediate need to accommodate housing placements and turned to Windover to develop a timetable to accelerate occupancy at Holcroft Park. Our project team developed a sequencing plan that allowed buildings to come online as quickly as possible, while construction of the remaining buildings could continue. Our sequencing plan successfully gave residents timely access to their new homes without compromising the overall project timeline.
