As part of the school’s strategic master plan, Windover performed preconstruction and construction for this 74,000 square-foot high school academic building. Designed to promote collaboration across disciplines, the five-story building is host to an interdisciplinary approach to education featuring departments for Science, Technology, Religious Studies, Engineering, the Arts, and Mathematics (STREAM). The facility features science laboratories, a robotics laboratory, makerspace, computer laboratories as well as 32 classrooms. With an abundance of glass in the interior and common areas, the space is intended to foster community, collaboration, and hands-on learning.

Situated upon a bustling academic campus, the building exterior is influenced by the school’s iconic brick and neo-gothic architectural style, while the interior features state-of-the-art learning spaces. With a focus on integrating construction into the school’s daily operations, our team coordinated closely with the school to ensure the safety and experience of its students were not compromised during the building process.
