As part of Landmark School’s Meeting the Moment initiative, the Alexander Hall project was one of two concurrent projects that Windover completed focused on enhancing student experience and building a stronger community. In partnership with the school and Peterman Architects, Windover expanded and renovated part of Landmark’s high school campus to create more dynamic learning and gathering spaces.
The project included an addition to the academic building to create an upgraded student center and game room, and a large meeting room with seating for over 100 people. The brick façade of the addition seamlessly integrates with the historic masonry of the existing building. Project highlights include the new wooden pavilion overlooking the coast, a Nanawall that opens from the game room to the outdoors, site improvements to the entrance of the building, and the modernization of systems in the existing building.
