The Cummings School of Nursing and Health Sciences is a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to nursing and sports science and designed for experiential learning. For nursing students, the new building features advanced laboratories, high-fidelity simulators, and interactive lab spaces. For the sports sciences, there’s the human performance lab, therapeutic lab, and modalities lab with a hydrotherapy room. The building also features traditional classrooms and other community spaces and is connected to the surrounding academic buildings through aboveground covered walkways.
In addition to bringing the health sciences together, the Cummings School of Nursing and Health Sciences building marks the completion of Endicott’s emerging academic quad that brings all academic programming to the heart of campus. The new building connects to the recently completed Hempstead Commons, Samuel C. Wax Academic Center, and the Gerrish School of Business and Ginger Judge Science Center. Windover was proud to bring this state-of-the-art facility to the Endicott community at a time when careers in nursing are more important than ever.
