Over 100 years old, the Bolles House on Belmont Hill’s campus was renovated to become the school’s new innovation hub. This full interior renovation created a new Innovation and Robotics Lab featuring a 12’ by 12’ Murphy Bed-style fold-down Robotics Court. A full-height interior glazing wall including a Renlita motorized door system allows for more spacing options for students and teachers, while the addition of high-end casework and steel countertops provides ample storage space. Structural components were added to the existing structure, new mechanical systems were installed, and the slate roof was reworked with new copper gutters and flashing. New underslab drainage was installed, along with a fit out of the basement level for storage and future workshop space. Additionally, the space adjacent to the Bolles House was repurposed to create a Green Screen room and Podcast Studio for the students and faculty on campus.
