People Spotlight: Meet Nathan Ho

People Spotlight: Meet Nathan Ho

Each quarter, we spotlight employees who live out our core values every day. This quarter, we are highlighting Innovation Specialist Nathan Ho!

After completing two internships with Windover’s project management teams, Nathan joined us full-time in 2022 and has consistently demonstrated strong technical expertise, initiative, and a commitment to supporting our projects, clients, and innovation efforts. Nathan was recently promoted to Innovation Specialist, reflecting the significant value he continues to bring to Windover and our Innovation Group. In his role, he helps leverage leading-edge technologies such as BIM, MEP coordination, laser scanning, and mixed reality to solve real construction challenges and help our teams build better.

One of his teammates shared: “Nathan works impressively hard on projects across the board. Even so, he is always happy to take time from his work to answer my questions or walk me through a process.”

We asked Nathan to share a few things about himself and his time at Windover

What is your favorite thing about working at Windover?
The people I work with. They make my job much more enjoyable and easier to do every day.

What do you like best about your role as Innovation Specialist?
I love being part of a forward-thinking team that transforms how Windover and the wider industry build using cutting-edge technology. My role allows me to touch almost every project and work with various teams to streamline and simplify their processes. I also enjoy the day-to-day variety, whether I’m handling MEP coordination, modeling logistics and phasing, laser scanning, or conducting Mixed Reality QA/QC.

What is something exciting/interesting you’re working on?
One of the coolest things I do is take Mixed Reality headsets out to our jobsites. By collaborating with superintendents and trades on-site, we can overlay our fully coordinated 3D model directly onto the physical space. This lets us spot any installation errors or discrepancies in real time.

What is your favorite part about working with your team?
Our Innovation team is constantly trying to find new ways to support the project teams and “build better.” With all the different technologies we use, and the different experiences and backgrounds each of us on the team has, we’re able to change how the industry builds from pre-construction to turnover.

What is your current favorite thing to do in your free time?
I love staying active in my free time and playing sports, especially softball, volleyball, and basketball.

If you were building your dream home, what would it include?
An indoor basketball court.

What is your favorite way to get involved with the community, either through Windover or other organizations?
I regularly volunteer at my church in Boston.
