Marc Ciaramitaro joined Windover in January 2015, bringing with him over 25 years’ experience in construction and safety management. He began his career as a carpenter at the young age of 15 and after graduating from Wentworth Institute of Technology quickly joined the ranks as a superintendent in the industry. As Windover’s Director of Field Operations, Marc brings his passion for teamwork and construction in the oversight of our projects from preconstruction to completion, in our safety management, and in the development and mentorship of our field operations staff. He is always ready to dig into a project and especially enjoys those with complex and challenging components. When he is not planning a project or on a construction site, Marc is busy building his new family home in Georgetown, MA—which is of course on-schedule to complete this spring!
What is your favorite thing about working for Windover?
Windover’s people and its commitment to client service are two things that really stand out for me. When I joined Windover, the incredible level of teamwork and comradery were evident from the start and made my transition easy and enjoyable. Everyone here at Windover is 100% dedicated and driven to provide the best quality service and deliver what we say we will to our clients from start to finish. To me, that is true commitment.
What is your favorite part of your job?
My role allows me to be involved with all of our projects to some varying degree from start to finish. I enjoy working with our teams and problem-solving on a daily basis. But for me, my favorite part is being a ‘behind-the-scenes’ leader and assisting our field teams when needed. I find it rewarding being a mentor to our junior team members and helping them carve out their career plan to build their skills and move to the next level.
If you were building your dream home, what would you include?
Well, although I am currently building a new home, I would have to say that ideally my dream home would be a vacation home situated on a mountain in the Conway area of New Hampshire. I love to ski and be outdoors. This area offers four seasons worth of activities and is one my favorite places to visit with my family.
