Each quarter, we spotlight employees who live out our core values every day. This quarter we are highlighting Assistant Superintendent, Ian Swanson!
Ian joined Windover in 2023 and brings a dedicated and determined attitude to his work. Before becoming an Assistant Superintendent, Ian was in the Construction Management Apprenticeship Program (CMAP) and gained valuable experience in both the field and the office. He has proven himself to be a true collaborator who enjoys being part of a team building projects that support the community. Constantly striving to make it better, one of his teammates shared: “Ian is a pleasure to work with, he’s invested in all of his projects and always manages to keep a cool demeanor and a big smile!”
We asked Ian to share a few things about himself and his time at Windover:
What is your favorite thing about working at Windover?
The company culture and the people I get to work with.
What is your favorite part of your job?
My favorite part of my job is working to create long-lasting projects and creating relationships with trade partners and the community.
What is your favorite part about working with your team?
My favorite part about working with my team is interacting with them and being part of a tightly knit group that can have fun while we work.
What is your current favorite thing to do in your free time?
I enjoy spending time on my boats and attending concerts.
If you were building your dream home, what would it include?
My dream home includes big windows overlooking the ocean.
What is your favorite way to get involved with the community, either through Windover or other organizations?
My favorite way to get involved with my community is working at charities and fundraisers, as well as donating blood and platelets regularly with the Red Cross.
