Each quarter, we spotlight employees who live out our core values every day. This quarter, we’re spotlighting Client Services Manager Derek Marshall! Derek joined Windover in 2010 as a carpenter and ever since has been dedicated to providing the highest level of quality and earning and preserving trust with our clients. In his role, Derek manages projects, equipment, and the warranty process, all while standing in their shoes with a client-first approach. Derek’s colleagues share that in addition to “being great at his job, he perseveres in challenging times and has the Windover spirit.”
Derek took a few minutes to share a little more with us about him and his time at Windover:
What is your favorite thing about working at Windover?
Teamwork. I just love the camaraderie. I love being part of something.
What is your favorite part of your job?
Working with our clients and teams to solve challenging issues that come up.
What is your favorite part about working with your team?
We all have the same goal to make our clients happy.
What is your current favorite thing to do in your free time?
Now that it’s spring, going boating!
If you were building your dream home, what would it include?
I’ve been building my dream home, and it had to include a screen porch and a dock.
What is your favorite way to get involved with the community, either through Windover or other organizations?
I am always eager to help with volunteer opportunities that allow me to use my skills to help others.
