Autodesk named Amr Raafat the Innovator of the Year in 2019 for his implementation of drone mapping technology on sites for Windover Construction in New England. Amr Raafat, our Chief Innovation Officer, pushes the construction industry to embrace the use of technology to build better and safer. Utilizing BIM and virtual and mixed reality allows for safer working conditions on the job site while also expediting the building process. The field teams collaborate with the Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) team to further enhance the design and building process.
