Windover’s Social Sustainability Committee recently donated 50 backpacks filled with school supplies geared for high school aged children to support Beverly Bootstraps’ Back to School Backpack program. Several of our employees joined in on the fun to assemble the backpacks and in record time!
The goal of this initiative is to help children in need start the school year off right with the supplies they need to achieve academic success.
“This is the second year Windover has supported the Back to School Bonanza program and we are hooked,” shared Charlotte Johnson, Windover’s backpack team coordinator. “Knowing that we are making even the smallest difference in helping these students achieve academic success is something we are committed to supporting.”
In 2015, Beverly Bootstraps distribute 704 backpacks and school supplies to students from grades kindergarten to the 12th grade in Beverly and Manchester.
