People Spotlight: Meet Meg Kearney

Each quarter, we spotlight employees who live out our core values every day. This quarter, we are spotlighting Project Manager Meg Kearney! Meg joined Windover in 2014 and during her time here has taken on some of Windover’s most challenging and complex renovations in the academic, hospitality, and life science markets. She recently completed the Double Bull Taphouse in Peabody, MA – a renovation and rebranding of the former Bancroft & Co., a previous Windover project that Meg also managed. Detailed and concise, Meg is committed to living out Windover’s core values each and every day. She continually earns and preserves trust by going above and beyond for our clients – which doesn’t go unnoticed by those she works with here at Windover. “Meg is always eager to share knowledge and lend a hand,” one colleague shared about Meg’s dedication to her projects, clients, and teams. “She is always providing very detailed information and presents it in a way that is understandable and concise. I really enjoy working with her!”

We caught up with Meg to learn a little more about her and her time at Windover:

What is your favorite thing about working at Windover?
The people I work with! And my 15 minute commute.

What is your favorite part of your job?
Problem solving – all the problems, all the team brainstorms.

What is your favorite part about working with your team?
They care about each other. Especially this year. The level of trust and candid attitudes have allowed us to accomplish a lot of good work.

What is one of your favorite things to do in your free time?
I play hard on the weekends! We got a “covid camper” and my family (husband and 2 boys) parks it close to hiking, mountain biking, or paddle boarding spots. The boys have so much energy!

If you were building your dream home, what would it include?
It would include Windover carpenters, they are so talented. And mountain views! It would have portions of metal roof and unique siding. A Pacific Northwest style would be perfect.

What is your favorite way to get involved with the community?
My family sends gifts and visits the MGH NICU each Christmas to honor our time spent there in 2014. I’m also excited to make my dream of being a soccer coach come true, when I volunteer in my town this fall with the Grade 1 boys program.
