Each quarter, we spotlight employees who live out our core values every day. This quarter, we’re spotlighting Assistant Estimator Nate Rogers! Nate first joined Windover Construction as an intern in 2018 and, after completing additional internships with our VDC, field, and preconstruction teams, joined our estimating department full-time in 2022. Inquisitive, eager to learn, and always willing to lend a hand, Nate has quickly earned and preserved trust among his team and partners. “It is rare to meet a young man who has a knack for seeking out and becoming familiar with almost anything – from different software to carpentry and masonry,” shared one of Nate’s colleagues. “He has become an invaluable asset to me, our estimating department, and the entire Windover community.”

We asked Nate to share a few things about himself and his time at Windover:

What is your favorite thing about working at Windover?
I love the supportive and friendly culture, it’s like a big happy family.

What is your favorite part of your job?
My favorite part is developing solutions for clients, building relationships, and getting to talk to new people all the time.

What is your favorite part about working with your team?
I like the camaraderie we have and the willingness to help each other, and the general trust in each other to get the job done.

What is your current favorite thing to do in your free time?
I enjoy spending time outdoors – surfing, skiing, and sailing, I also enjoy woodworking and helping my neighbors with home improvement jobs.

If you were building your dream home, what would it include?
It’d be on the beach so I can surf every morning. It would also include an outdoor shower, a workshop for surfboard storage and maintenance, a big open deck, and apple and banana trees.

What is your favorite way to get involved with the community, either through Windover Construction or other organizations?
I’ve enjoyed getting more involved with the North Shore Chamber and helping launch its Emerging Professionals group.
