A very important and unique initiative for its community, the expansion for the Ipswich Family YMCA features an all new outdoor aquatic center, 2,600 square-foot “spray park” for children, and outdoor community space in addition to indoor features such as new locker rooms, multi-purpose space, a sauna/steam facility, and therapeutic space for seniors. The design and construction of the expansion are green and energy-efficient, featuring innovative technologies and sustainable systems. Windover coordinated closely with YMCA user groups to ensure the work did not interfere with their active facility.
