Recently, we had to say goodbye to our beloved Sam ... our little brown dog.
She is buried in the back yard on Hancock Road, and we have planted a batch of wild flowers at the site.

This was the last picture taken of Sam.
And here are two great photos Eric Windover snapped of a bald eagle near the Quabbin Reservoir on March 4, 2006, which coincidentally was the day Sam died.
