The Massachusetts Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors awarded Windover Construction with the Eagle Award at the 24th annual Excellence in Construction Awards on November 9th for our outstanding work on Beauport Hotel Gloucester.
The Eagle Award recognizes overall excellence in project execution, craftsmanship, safety, innovative elements and challenges, and client satisfaction. Windover took home the Eagle Award, representing the pinnacle of achievement, for our work on the Beauport Hotel Gloucester. Construction of this 115,000 square foot, 94-room, full-service, oceanfront hotel was truly a turnkey operation. Windover overcame neighborhood opposition by meeting with each party, addressing their concerns and resolving all permitting appeals. Significant changes occurred during the project, including construction of a rooftop pool that was originally intended for the main-level deck. Despite unforeseen conditions and one of the worst winters in area history, the project was completed fifteen days early.
